Kick-off the summer season with a walk in the Gardens. Take in the brilliant blooms of the Peony and Iris Collections, the Brosius Rose Garden and other garden areas and pack a picnic lunch to enjoy while you are here. The Gardens are open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., lunch will be available for purchase from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., and The Wichita Community Band will play at free concert from 1-2 p.m., featuring a variety of American March music. Free ice cream will be available during the concert for visitors to enjoy.

With more than 90 varieties to choose from, there are plenty of colors and types to make a colorful impact on your yard next spring.
