Woodland Walk

This wooded area along a ¼ mile trail provides an opportunity to show how to utilize an existing natural area for landscaping purposes. You can see the three distinct layers of plants in this garden: the large trees that form the canopy, the larger shrubs and smaller trees in the wider story and the seedlings, low plants and shrubs in the understory. Because of this layering, birds, foxes and other animals continue to use the Woodland Walk as their home.
